Integrated Phase Converter
Now a day, the motor drives are called by different names such as Variable Speed Drive (VSD), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), PWM Inverters, Inverters, etc. In last few decades because of widely use of these systems, their price has been reduced but their functionality and intelligence have been extremely improved.
ASA Inverters / VSDs are of high efficiency and most commonly used devices for controlling speed of electro motors to a required set value. They are very intelligent devices with lots of possibilities to be used in an open loop or closed loop controlled systems. We also need to notice that the output of the variable speed drives contains high frequency PWM pulses at amplitude equal to that of the rectified DC level voltage. These are shown in figure 1. The Integrated Phase Converter provides you a symmetrical three phase PWM output at any speed setting. It allows you to control speed of a Three Phase Motor while the motor performs at its best speed controllable, with over voltage, under voltage, over current, and many other safety protection systems. You do not need to change the motor configuration with integrated phase converter. Please note that this unit is required to be hardwired to the motor directly without any contactors or circuit breakers in between. Your system can start from the front panel or start/stop switch. It can also provide the soft starting to your system. Integrated Phase Converter Input: 1PH 240V Output: 3PH 0~415V PWM We will be glad to customize and design systems suitable for your application up to 7KVA. |
Depending on the unit rating, it may vary in size and shape.
